PEP II begins with a one-day workshop before a student’s second year in law school and
continues throughout the year with a menu of programs and events from which students may choose.
Students must attend at least two programs in each of the four passport categories listed below.
Students earn 1 Credit, which is given at end of school year.
Similar to PEP I, opportunities for formative assessment (without a grade) are incorporated
into the PEP II Curriculum where appropriate. A student who fails to attend the required number
and type (category) of classes will receive an Incomplete for PEP II. The student will be
required to attend additional classes and/or to write a paper on a topic related to a course
chosen by the Associate Dean for Academics. Upon completion of these additional requirements,
the student will receive a passing grade.
